Ok, Week 2 of the proxy newsletter reviews and I chose to use ProxyPromotion.com. This guy sends out your proxy for a modest fee of $8 to a Google Group of over 24000 members. Seems promising and it is over $10 less than Addvertise.info. You can select which slot you want over at the ProxyPromotion Calendar which is releatively straightforward. The only problem is the order process is not too simple - you must send money from your paypal and then send an email using the information on the calendar page. One of the best features is that you can choose which day you want to have the newsletter sent out on. Obviously, avoid weekeds and school holidays.

Total Expenditure: $8
Adsense Income: $5ish
Adbrite: $0.50
Traffic: Around 700 visitors over 2 days
I also received 7 new sign ups to my Yahoo Group.
To be honest, I was expecting more because the group has so many members. However, the price is very good and is much cheaper than most other services. I only made a small loss on the investment and the results are probably better than last week (addvertise.info).
Overall, a quick and very cheap traffic boost which nearly broke even with the income from adsense against the cost of the service.
