How To Edit Free Proxy Themes
Last Updated: January 2008
In the zip file you download there will usually be 6 files: config.php , index.php , index.inc.php , style.css , header.psd & ReadMe.txt as well as the images directory.
You do not need to edit index.php , style.css or ReadMe.txt.
- Open ReadMe.txt and pay close attention to the instructions
- Open config.php. Edit the Site Title & Meta settings as you wish. In the adcode settings replace the google ad client publisher number (currently 4974127820957972) with the number for your account.
- In index.inc.php you can edit the link exchange section with your links - do not change anything else unless you are familiar with php/html coding or your proxy may not work
- Open header.psd in photoshop. Change the text to the name of your proxy. Save it in the IMAGES folder as header.gif
- Upload the ALL files to your proxy directory. Also, upload the images directory here.
- Test it out ! Your new theme should be operational - please leave a comment under the themes post with any issues
Please Note: You do not require ANY other files to use the proxy, just those included in the ZIP package.
If you do not have photoshop, I will edit the header.psd file for you for a fee of $5. Enjoy the Templates!
Do NOT remove sponsor links from the Themes
